Movie Review: Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules
This movie is really hilarious! What I like about this movie is that every inch of it makes sense!

Yes! Most of us might have experienced Greg’s dilemma – your older brother/sister bullying you around. As for me, I’m the eldest so I bully my brother and watching this movie made me reminisce those days when I used to hate my brother for no reason at all. I love him, of course but there’s just something that we can’t agree on.

SIBLING RIVALRY

This is the number one reason why siblings fight. This is not happening to kids only. This also happens to adults. Sibling rivalry is inevitable especially if there’s a big age gap between two siblings. There are a lot of things that might cause this and if you’ll ask me I believe that number one reason for this is the difference in the siblings’ interest and their environment outside home.

DEEP INSIDE THEY LOVE EACH OTHER

There’s something about this film that makes it so great – the story of two brothers who fight a lot but at the end of the day they are still brothers and that behind all the fight they do love each other. There’s nothing more that parents would love about their kids than that they love each other. Come to think of it, your parents will die (oh yeah, truth hurts) and when they’re gone the only family that you can turn to anytime is your siblings. You might have a lot of misunderstanding but you are still part of a family. You might feel that you hate them now but soon you’ll realize how much you value, treasure and love them.

I recommend this film as a way of bonding with your family. Parents should take their kids at the cinema to watch this film with them and just have a good time. Hearing kids laughing in chorus in the cinema is priceless! This film might be very simple but it does teach us a lot of things about a family. This movie is definitely a ten! This movie will be shown in your favorite cinema on April 23, 2011. Check out the movie trailer below:
