Movie Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

It's been so long since I posted my last movie review. I'm sorry guys! I was just so busy with some things (both work and personal) so I wasn't able to post my movie reviews. Though I'm not posting movie reviews lately, that doesn't mean that I stopped watching movies. Believe me, I have been watching all movies but I just can't find time to post my thoughts about them.

Last week, I went with my boyfriend to see the last Harry Potter movie. I watched the first part of the Deathly Hallows but I felt like all the action and twists are going to be in the second part so I decided to not talk about it because I'll just say a lot of negative things about the movie.

Rupert Grint in Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 2

As Rupert Grint says goodbye to playing Ron Weasley, the young actor shares what transpired during the last shooting day of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,” as well as his plans post-“Potter.”

Question: Did the cast and crew do anything special on the last day of shooting?

Rupert Grint: Yeah, they played a video. We did this thing called the Golden Board. Have to have Dan [Radcliffe] explain that, but it’s basically a big count-down. This film was like 260 days or something. Every day we had this board, like ‘day one,’ ‘day two’ and each time it would be a silly saying and stuff. They kind of edited all that together and it was just really nice to see that. It was actually quite emotional too.

Voldemort hunts down Harry Potter in "Deathly Hallows, Part 1"

Posted by Sai

In Warner Bros.’ “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” -- the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series told in two full-length parts -- Lord Voldemort is on a mission: to end the life of “the Boy Who Lived.”

Director David Yates says, “Voldemort is on the cusp of absolute power. He’s been hiding in the shadows, biding his time until he could come back and impose his will on the rest of the world. Everything else in his master plan has come together; he just needs to deal with this one tiny detail. Voldemort doesn’t understand how this ‘child’ has become his strongest adversary, but he does know he must be the one to kill Harry Potter. First of all, it was destined and, secondly, there is the sheer satisfaction of it after being thwarted so often. It’s beyond personal at this point.”
