Katy Perry "Part of Me" Movie

Thank you so much for believing in my weirdness. - Katy Perry
MOVIE BLOG: Katy Perry is just so adorable! What you see is what you get! She's very creative and, undoubtedly, a great song writer and performer! Her Part of Me movie shows the part of her that we don't usually see in her music videos or concerts.

Movie Review: The Dictator

File:The Dictator Poster.jpg

This is the second movie that made me laugh from start to finish! I highly recommend watching this film if you want a really good laugh. You won't even get bored even if you see this movie alone! From the creators of Borat, this movie stars Sacha Baron Coren as Aladeen, the dictator, Megan Fox as herself, Jason Mantzoukas as Nadal (one of the characters who entertained me the most) and Anna Faris as Zoey directed by Larry Charles.

Movie Review: Glee, the 3D Concert Movie

By Sai

I am a Glee fan so I cannot be more bias than this! This concert movie is the best! It gave me chills, goosebumps and if I am allowed to stand in the cinema and dance... I would!

Movie Review: Crazy Stupid Love

By Sai

One of the most mysterious word and verb for me is "love." We have tried to define love many times but what does love really mean?

CRAZY

Love is crazy. I think most of you will agree. We tend to try and do a lot of weird stuff just to please the one we love. We give them roses, rings, gift cards, cars, houses and even your own shirt!

Movie Review: The Rise of the Planet of the Apes

By Sai

This movie is awesome! I just can't explain how delighted I am with this movie!

ANIMAL TESTING

One of the issues that the movie tackled is animal testing. We are all aware that our medicine, beauty products and other stuff at home were tested with animals before they hit the counter for our consumption. In a human's view, this is okay because that is for the welfare of mankind but the question here is: "How about the animals?"

Movie Review: Captain America, The First Avenger

By Sai
Captain America: The First Avenger
I still have a clear memory of the Captain America that I used to watch when I was a kid. I'm not sure though if that's a movie or a TV series. I'm glad that I had another chance to see Captain America in the big screen and this time it's something that I will never forget!

BULLIES

Bullies are everywhere - in school, at work, among your friends, etc.! Captain America himself has been bullied around. I just love how the movie emphasized the reason why Rogers was chosen for the experiment. Kids like him, who has been bullied all their lives, will value power more than those who bullied people all the time.

ON CAPTAIN AMERICA

I, personally, like his story more than Tony Stark, Peter Parker and even Superman! He's a reflection of a true hero! His heart is as pure as the water in the mountains and his aim to help others is just astonishing! He's so cute too! (Oops, sorry! That's a lady's opinion haha)

THE DATE

I don't intend to give a spoiler here but I had mixed emotions about this date that I'm talking about. If you want to know what I mean then you better go to your nearest cinema and watch this film.

I would just like to thanks Tender Juicy Hotdog for sponsoring a ticket of Captain America. Instead of buying four tickets, I only bought three. That's almost Php200 off :)

Movie Review: Senior Year

By Sai
Senior Year
Few weeks ago, I get the chance to see this independent film entitled "Senior Year." It's basically a flash back story on the lives of different people during their senior year in high school.

IT'S COMPLICATED

When you're in high school everything seems so complicated. You're in this stage where you have to discover a lot of things and the burden of knowing what's right and wrong is not enough - you have to know what's best for you and for the people around you.

Movie Review: Water For Elephants

By Sai
Love stories amazes most of us, especially to people like me - a die-hard romantic! With so many love stories of different angles and how they are portrayed in movie screens, it's really hard to stand out.

8 out of 10

I don't know but I think I expected too much from this film and I'm a bit disappointed. I love Robert Pattinson, don't get me wrong! I love him especially as Edward Cullen in Twilight movies. His personality in this film is actually interesting - a man who lost everything and while on the road to real life he met Marlena (Reese Witherspoon).

When I saw Christoph Waltz' face I was so ecstatic! I was excited to watch his acting and how he puts life to August Rosenbluth's character. Boy, oh boy! I'm his fan! I saw him in the movie Inglorious Basterds. I must say that he really portrays characters with a very violent personality well! He's one of the best actors that the entertainment industry has! Reese Witherspoon's acting  is okay. It's not outstanding (Reese's fans, please don't hate me!). Knowing that I'm a Robert Pattinson fan, I was not moved by his acting either. Yes, there were parts where I was touched but it was not something that I would always share to people. I would not talk about it every day like what I did with Avatar, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Easy A!

AS AN ANIMAL LOVER

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon

I pity Rosy, the elephant, in this movie especially when August (Christoph Waltz) hit her many times. My heart was torn when I saw her body bleeding. If this movie will be outstanding, it would be because of Rosy. I love this angle of the movie rather than the love story. I think the love story is just a typical one. I've seen this plot a lot of time but the part where the movie touches hearts of people who love and advocate for animal rights was beyond fantastic! Who would ever thought that the end that we have foreseen in this movie would be twisted by an elephant. Rosy brought Jacob and Marlena together.

WATCH IT!

Here's a trailer of the movie. Watch this movie with your friends or family members and see if we have the same point of view. If you don't agree with me feel free to leave some comments below. Water for Elephants will be shown in your favorite cinemas on May 4.

Movie Review: 127 Hours

By Sai

There is no force on Earth more powerful than the will to live.
LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE

I think nobody will contradict me for saying, "Life is an adventure." This whole journey leads to a lot of mistakes and learnings. Some of us lives like every day is their last day on Earth. They travel, they eat, they shop, they love and they are open to new things in life. And for some, they are afraid to even go out of their room to explore.

I really believe in the statement above: "There is no force on Earth more powerful than the will to live." You will really do anything just to live. I even watched a movie before, that even though the characters find cannibalism immoral, they still ate their own kind (human) just to live.

The Rite Movie Review

By Sai

Most of us experience that point in our life where we doubt what we believe in. We question the belief that the elders are passing unto us. It is a necessity for us to believe in something.

TO SEE IS TO BELIEVE

Faith is something that some of us doesn't have. Faith defines how well we believe in something and it gives us the reason to fight for it. When someone asks you about faith you automatically think of having faith in the Almighty One. I actually find this movie a bit hilarious (story-wise) because Fr. Michael Kovak has nothing but the eagerness to scorn both the belief that there's heaven and hell.

Tangled Movie Review

By Sai
Tangled
I'm sorry if I haven't posted as much movie review as I use to post before. Things are getting a bit heavy (especially with my day job so please bear with me)! So, here's my next movie review - Tangled!

ANIMATION

I am a big fan of animated movie! Whoever made this movie is amazing! I can't even draw a flower properly and I am just so amazed with animators' talents! Kudos to everyone who made this movie possible!

BEING FREE

I can't imagine myself being locked up in a tower in the middle of nowhere! I actually admire how Rapunzel bravely faced the world that's new to her! She's one brave young lady!

Love and Other Drugs Movie Review

By Sai

Love and Other Drugs
It's a good thing I'm in a new relationship right now because if it's the other way around then I could've tripled the amount of tears that I produced when I saw this movie! I can't say anything but "Bravo!"

LOVE IS UNEXPECTED

We all heard the saying, "Love comes when you least expect it." Today I will sum it up with only three words - Love is unexpected.

Love (truly) comes when you're not looking for it. Same logic as when you're looking for a pen and you can't find it. After a few days, when you're not looking for the pen anymore, you'll find it just on top of your bed drawer. Odd isn't it? I think it's because when we're looking for something, we pay too much attention on where to find it, how to get it, and what should we do to own it. Life is a matter of proper timing.

Tanging Ina: Last na 'To Movie Review

By Sai

December 25 means invasion of the cinemas by nothing but quality Pinoy movies. I just don't get it why there are horror films during the Manila Film Festival. I believe that movies during this season should inspire people, not frighten them. Oh well, who am I to decide? As long as we support Filipino movies, I'm cool with that ;)

Tonight, we watched Tanging Ina: Last na 'To. According to TV commercials, it's the last sequel for this comedy film. Mom told me that it looks so corny but because I have been part of the first two movies, I decided to drag her to the cinema with my Auntie Nene and my godchild, Uno, to watch it with me.

SAW: The Final Chapter Movie Review

By Sai
It’s been so long since I posted a movie review. I’ve been very busy with my real work as a Digital Influence Specialist that I have no time to watch TV anymore. It was my college friend, Kristine, who told me that Saw 7: The Final Chapter is now being shown in the cinema. I hope you’re all aware that I am a big fan of SAW movies so I had to leave all my work (professional and blogging works) behind and head to the nearest cinema to watch the final leg of this great movie!

Unstoppable Movie Review

By Sai

UNSTOPPABLE: Movie Trailer. Watch more top selected videos about: Unstoppable, Jessy Shram

When I first saw the movie trailer of Unstoppable in one of the advance movie screenings I usually attend, I was so interested. I’m so glad that Jay invited me to see this movie.

UNSTOPPABLE

This movie is a heroic act of two men to save many lives. If you’ll look at it that way you’ll think, “Hey, there’s nothing new with that movie.” If you’re actually thinking that way I say, “Nope, you’re wrong!”

Easy A Movie Review

By Sai

High school life is tough. If you’ll agree with me, what you are right now is (mostly) because of your good and bad high school experience. I am a living proof of this. High school is your early exposure of the adult life you’ll encounter in the future, say college life where everything is so serious because of the uncertainty that’s waiting for you in the great unknown. High school is where you can still laugh, breathe, hang out with your friends, and fight with your fellow students and… LIE!
